It’s two days to go for my event, and I have a pimple on my face. I remember the days when I was only a freelancer. I only had to work inside an air-conditioned room. After launching books, I to have focus a bit more about how I look. Something I am not very good at. I eat & drink whatever I feel like, which often leads to bad voice and I have to drop some speaking gigs. One more thing that I always get confused with, is what hairstyle should I do for the next event.
For the first two times, I made the worst decision of getting a haircut right one day before the event. Turned out horrible, and I learned that haircut should be done at least one-week or ten days before of important event. I know, there are some celebrities out there who have fixed hairstyles and they get a haircut right before shooting or going out, but that certainly isn’t for me. Neither I have a perfect haircut or the perfect person to do it. So, I keep experimenting.
If you have no idea about what event I am talking, it’s Webfair 1.0. I wrote a detailed blog post about it which you can read here. It’s an event for blogging, YouTubing, and marketing, the technical stuff. I’m hosting the event as well as delivering a keynote session.
Apart from two days remaining for my event, I have a bigger news to share.
I launched a new podcast!
The podcast is called “Re-kindle with Rachit” and I’d be publishing once a week. The tagline, and subject of the podcast is “see the world from the eyes of an author”. Here is the first episode
I’ll be publishing new episode every saturday night or sunday morning(still thinking). I am also thinking whether I should make podcast in english/hindi or a mix of both. If you have any feedback or suggestions, leave them in comments below. The podcast would be soon available on major platforms like sticher radio(android), itunes(apple).
